It's an all-new Ford Super Duty that makes its debut in 2023. While it retains its exceptional work capacity and legendary strength, it adds a little power and efficiency with refined and more advanced engines.

It also adopts a new, more modern design language but has been designed to remain the leader in its class. For example, the new Super Duty has a maximum payload capacity of 8,000 pounds but can tow up to 40,000 pounds in total. A host of towing assistance features help manage all that power and put it to work for you.

A multitude of engines

The new 2023 Super Duty features revised engines, including a 6.2-litre V8, a 7.3-litre V8 and a 6.7-litre diesel V8, including a new 10-speed automatic transmission. However, it also adds a high-performance version with the 6.7-litre diesel engine, with 500-horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque.

360-DEGREE CAMERA AND TAILGATE CAMERA

The 2023 Super Duty is equipped with a camera package that covers the entire truck, giving the impression of a bird's eye view and making manoeuvering easier. It is also the first truck to offer a camera and sensors at the top of the tailgate that provides visual and audible alerts when the tailgate is lowered, making it easier to reverse or hook up to a gooseneck or fifth-wheel trailer.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL AND LANE KEEPING

To maintain speed, Adaptive Cruise Control assesses the traffic ahead and slows down if necessary. It will accelerate again when the lane opens up. And to make it even safer, it will also act on the steering to keep the truck in the centre of the lane.

VERSATILITY

LOADED WEIGHT DISPLAY optional

The optional onboard scale with a smart hitch provides real-time weight readings that can be displayed on the centre screen or in the FordPass app. It also estimates the weight distribution with the tongue weight and provides details on the touch screen.

TRAILER BLIND SPOT MONITOR optional

Take the worry out of trailer use with a blind spot information system for fifth-wheel and gooseneck trailers. Simply attach it to a trailer to help identify vehicles travelling alongside. An indication will flash in the mirrors in case of danger.

INNOVATION

NAVIGATION SYSTEM WITH TRAILER

Avoid unnecessary detours or complicated routes with the trailer navigation system. It allows you to choose the best routes to take according to the dimensions of the trailer entered into the system, and to avoid roads with low bridges or tight bends.

INNOVATION

ALEXA INTEGRATION

The Alexa personal assistant is now standard in the new 2023 Super Duty and will respond to the driver's voice commands. This enhances the hands-free experience. The Super Duty comes with a limited subscription to Alexa services.
